In contrast controls a private python breeder in north German Osnabrück: Pythons are bred on their snake form up to a length of 8 meters and made fit for release in Indonesia. Since the pythons had previously cleared the paddy fields of Indonesia from rats and because of their systematic extermination is no longer possible in the meantime, this project has important ecological dimensions.
